PRIVACY POLICY FOR THE COLLETION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA PURSUANT TO ARTICLES 13 OF REGULATION (EU) 679/2016 OF 27 APRIL 2016

This privacy policy is issued pursuant to Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and compliance with the legislation on the processing of personal data, as well as the free movement of such data.

In particular, this privacy policy applies to www.eidolon.polimi.it, which is part of the European ERC LIFE project. Through the portal, researchers and archaeologists will be able to organize their notes in a visual way in the form of their own mini-site. In particular, they will be able to geolocate on the map, routes, finds, points of interest and all the information they deem useful to share with other researchers in an orderly and captivating way.

This privacy policy is rendered only for this site and provides information to those who interact with the site, which is electronically accessible and pertains to the domain: www.polimi.it

NATURE OF DATA

User data

To provide our portal Services, we need to collect Personal Information about an identifiable individual. The types of information we collect from users are as follows:

1. Data provided by the user. When you register for our Services and use one of our Services; and/or when you contact us directly through the various communication channels (telephone and e-mail), you provide personal information such as your name, surname, e-mail address and telephone number.
2. Information we collect while using the Services. When the user uses our Services we can collect aggregate information on the use, such as the navigation of Visitors and Users and the activities related to the user's navigation on the site. Together with these we could trace non-identifying Personal Information regarding the Visitor's or User's device, operating system, Internet browser, screen resolution, etc...
3. Information we collect from other sources. We do not receive Personal Information about you from third party sources.

User project data

1. Data uploaded when a project is created by the User. Registered users may upload photos, logos, maps and points of interest downloaded from their Google account in .KMZ and .KML formats. Additionally, you may upload .CSV files from the Google Scholar portal to our portal.

The provision of the data requested is optional. In the event of failure to provide the data requested, the planned services cannot be guaranteed.
